Step Upward Farm

What Is the Step Upward Farm?

Step Upward Farm is a residental program for men needing more than 30 days for life rebuilding. It is a structured, Bible-based program that lasts from three to nine months in a farm setting.

The manager and staff at Step Upward Farm raise flowers in the farm’s greenhouse and build wooden items such as log wagons, wells, picnic tables, wheelbarrows, birdhouses, squirrel feeders and toys that are sold to raise funds for the Cookeville Rescue Mission. Residents who are able and interested in this kind of work often lend a hand, as well.

These efforts, along with donations made by visitors to the farm, generated enough funds to pay off the farm in just two years.
