We've all experienced the discomfort, and sometimes danger, of being out in the heat too long. A heat wave such as Cookeville is experiencing now fills the shelter similar to when temperatures drop to freezing. Showers are an even higher priority now and they help lower body temperatures safely. We are grateful to the staff working so diligently on this installation.
