How to Help During the Holidays
The holiday season can be especially stressful for many of our Upper Cumberland neighbors. In addition to providing a safe place for those without a home, we also help provide holiday meals for those in the community that are unable to afford expensive items like turkeys and hams.
In addition to hosting a Thanksgiving meal that is open to the community, we also provide food boxes to those families that just need a little help in making their holiday meal a success.
Please remember that when you support Cookeville Rescue Mission, you not only support our guests but the community as a whole!
Below you will see a list of our most urgent holiday needs. Would you please help?
• Please remember to sign up and support our Sound of Hope bell-ringing fundraiser. It's our most important fundraiser of the year!
• We are now accepting donations for holiday meal items like Turkeys, Hams, Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing/Dressing, etc. Help us provide for others!
• As you know, the holiday season brings with it frigid temperatures. We are always in need of blankets and warm clothes.
