Our bell ringing season kicks off! We need your help during our most important fundraiser of the year! Please visit our Sound of Hope website to register.

Join us on Thanksgiving day at 11:30 AM to celebrate the kickoff and have a wonderful Thanksgiving meal!

Thanksgiving Meal

We're hosting a Thanksgiving meal for our guests and well as the general public. Delivery of meals to home-bound families will begin at 11:00 AM, with the Thanksgiving meal taking place at 12:00 PM. If you are home-bound and would like to request a Thanksgiving meal please call 931-528-5819 for more information.

Also, join us at 11:30 AM for the official kickoff to our Sound of Hope fundraising event!

Cumberland Auto Centers Ugly Christmas Sweater 5k

Bring in the Christmas Spirit with Cumberland Auto Center and Overdrive USA's 2nd Annual UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER 5K!

Don your ugliest Christmas Sweater and Run/Walk or Race as we give back to our community.

Yes there will be PRIZES.

All proceeds will go to the Cookeville Rescue Mission just in time for Christmas.

The Race will get underway at 8 AM in the rear parking lot of Life Church here in Cookeville. 2223 N Washington Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501

Cost of Admission Early Bird (until Dec 1st) $15, Pre-Race Day $20, Day of Race $25

Stigma Free Training

Every day, more than 130 people die in the United States after overdosing on opioids. The misuse of and addiction to opioids-including prescription pain relievers, heroin, and synthetic opioids such as fentanyl—is a serious national health crisis that affects public health as well as social and economic welfare. Even though substance use is recognized as a chronic and fatal health condition if left untreated, there is still an opportunity to enhance the community’s perception of people living with addiction. By countering opioid addiction negative attitudinal perceptions “stigma” the community can develop a broader understanding of opioid dependence as a chronic brain disease, categorized by long-term changes in the structure and functioning of the brain, and enhanced awareness of models of care, family support and principals of community engagement. There are many paths to recovery and by addressing negative attitudinal perceptions of people living with opioid addiction—the state community can serve as an anchor of support and strength for individuals in need of recovery.

Life Transformation Graduation

Cookeville Rescue Mission proudly announces Life Transformation Graduation! Join us as we celebrate the completion of the 12 month "Life Transformation Ministry" program by several of the dedicated and newly-transformed residents of CRM! The event will be held at the Stevens Street Baptist Church Fellowship Hall starting at 6:00 PM on Friday, August 23 2019. Mike Womack from Feed America First will be speaking and light refreshments will be served.

Memorial Day Celebration

We are hosting a Memorial Day Celebration, Monday, May 27th from 12pm-3pm for residents and guests. Activities include a cookout, games, time of spiritual reflection, music and good fellowship.
